Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Po Vesham (ranked 3802 p4p, 358 weight class) and Kyle Cavender (ranked 3909 p4p, 366 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavender attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Horrible takedown attempt by Vesham or perhaps it was just good defense by Cavender, which made it look bad.
Cavender rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vesham moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cavender tries to bum rush Vesham with a series of wild strikes but Vesham uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cavender has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Vesham ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vesham no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
