Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ilpo Pallero (ranked 5170 p4p, 426 weight class) and Kyosuke Shibaraki (ranked 6808 p4p, 485 weight class). Shibaraki has chosen SAVAGE 101 as his entrance music. Kyosuke Shibaraki is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pallero takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Pallero checks the leg kick.

Shibaraki drives through with a takedown into Pallero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shibaraki trying to control but Pallero is working from the bottom.
Shibaraki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Shibaraki missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Pallero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shibaraki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pallero looking for a guillotine here but Shibaraki defends easily.

Pallero is looking to cinch up a triangle. Shibaraki throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pallero's body to avoid the submission. Pallero has instead reached around Shibaraki's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pallero arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
