Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Danis (ranked 3286 p4p, 329 weight class) and Lodeye Little (ranked 5386 p4p, 439 weight class). Lodeye Little has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Danis!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lodeye Little!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Little gets tackled into the cage by Danis. Danis maintains the clinch.
Little fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Danis misses with a short punch on the inside.
Danis has Little pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Little manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Danis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Danis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Let's hope that Little has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Danis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Little as he avoids it easily.

Little is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Little is taking a breather. Danis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Danis is staying active underneath Little, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Little is breathing heavily.
Danis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Danis is looking to clinch but Little is avoiding it.

Little drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Danis defends it well.
Danis dives in for a single leg takedown but Little sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
