And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Tact !
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate Jr closes the distance and clinches up with Tact , looking for a takedown. Tate Jr pushes Tact against the cage but Tact circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tate Jr shoots in but Tact avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tact displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tate Jr.
Tact tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis Tate Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tact tries to clinch up but Tate Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
Tact on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Tact tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tate Jr defends well and Tact ends up having to push Tate Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tact is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tate Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tact should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tact has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tate Jr is working away from the top position though.
