Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chadwick Kemp (ranked 4910 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Iovine (ranked 7149 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Iovine will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Iovine!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemp shoots in but Iovine avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kemp looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kemp could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Iovine wants to improve his position but Kemp is controlling well.
Kemp wants to stand but Iovine has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Kemp decides to stand and escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kemp shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Iovine looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kemp is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Iovine sees it coming and defends easily.

Iovine wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kemp is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Iovine has managed to free his arm - good work.
Iovine moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kemp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kemp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kemp is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kemp has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Iovine pulls Kemp in to control the position.

Kemp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Iovine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kemp doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kemp manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kemp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Iovine on the ground.
Kemp works over Iovine with some ground and pound from guard.
Kemp trying to control the position from guard on top but Iovine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kemp stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Iovine tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kemp defends well and Iovine ends up having to push Kemp into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Iovine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Kemp is sitting in close to Iovine's body. Iovine has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kemp is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kemp is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Iovine.
