Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quincy Ball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pavle Korchagin!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korchagin misses with a takedown attempt - Ball sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ball seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Ball drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as Ball stalls from top position.
Ball wants to control but Korchagin is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Korchagin is looking to reverse the position.
Korchagin is letting Ball control him for a moment.

Ball creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Korchagin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Korchagin is looking for a sweep.

Korchagin has one of Ball's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ball thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ball wants to control but Korchagin is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korchagin is controlling Ball's trapped leg to prevent Ball from advancing to side control.
Korchagin is looking for a sweep. Ball is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ball tightens his grip and picks Korchagin up, before dumping him to the ground. Korchagin manages to land in guard.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Korchagin has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ball after a bit of a struggle.

Ball has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Korchagin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Ball is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Even with his hooks in, Ball manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Ball looking to break Korchagin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Korchagin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ball will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

You can see the frustration on Korchagin's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
