The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beast darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Beast is keen to just control but slice is a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beast seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but slice does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Beast shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Beast tries to clinch but slice moves out of range.
Beast takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Beast rushes slice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
slice keeps control of Beast as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Beast is pressed up against the cage. slice has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beast down to the mat. Beast avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Beast closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beast lands in his opponent's guard.
