Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodtang Jaotalaytong (ranked 3432 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Gutierrez (ranked 3122 p4p, 0 weight class). Gutierrez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Angel Gutierrez was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaotalaytong throws a head kick that Gutierrez semi-blocks.

It looks like Angel Gutierrez has been cut.

Jaotalaytong takes the fight into the clinch.

Gutierrez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gutierrez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jaotalaytong needs to keep his hands up - Gutierrez had a free shot at his head there.
Jaotalaytong throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jaotalaytong scores with a jab.
Jaotalaytong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gutierrez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gutierrez uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jaotalaytong has time to react.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jaotalaytong! Gutierrez is out on his feet! Jaotalaytong rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gutierrez is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gutierrez is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
