The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Musicman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Dean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Musicman on the ground.
Musicman tries to stand and escape but Dean is controlling the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Musicman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working.

Musicman is taking a breather. Dean says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Musicman uses his free foot to push down on Dean's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dean.

Musicman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dean can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Musicman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Musicman showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Musicman is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dean looks calm but he's in trouble here. Musicman gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dean is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Musicman lets go of the hold and Dean can pop his arm back in it's socket.
