The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lebedev with a poor takedown
and Lentz counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Vitaly Lebedev has been cut.
We've been told by Lentz's head coaches at Total Impact MMA/KT that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lebedev wants to clinch but Lentz slips to the side
and Lebedev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lebedev should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lentz jabs Lebedev right on the nose. Lebedev blinks but takes it well.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lebedev.
Lentz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lebedev has his takedown stuffed
and Lentz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Vitaly Lebedev's cut even more.
Mathiu Lentz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitaly Lebedev.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lebedev misses with a hook. Lentz ducked under it nicely.
Lentz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Lentz cracks Lebedev with a right hand to the side of the head.

The cut above Vitaly Lebedev's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Lentz cracks Lebedev on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lebedev falls backwards against the ropes. Lentz follows up with more strikes that drop Lebedev to his knees. Lentz keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lebedev! This one is all over!
