Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ervin Daniels!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Fisher!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels swinging wilding here.
Fisher fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Daniels throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Daniels swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fighters circling - Daniels throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Fisher forces Daniels back against the cage and clinches.
Daniels has had enough of the clinch but Fisher keeps him there for the moment.

Daniels is trying to break the clinch but Fisher has him pressed against the cage.
Fisher misses with a knee strike.
Daniels tries to throw a body punch but Fisher avoids it by throwing Daniels back against the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fisher. Daniels does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fisher slips a jab and a cross from Daniels.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fisher takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.


It looks like Steve Fisher has been cut.
Daniels pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Fisher gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Fisher is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Ervin Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Fisher.
Daniels wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fisher has him pressed against the cage.

Daniels throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fisher.

Daniels throws a shot from downtown. Fisher moves away and avoids it.
Daniels throws a looping overhand right but Fisher ducks down to avoid it.
Daniels stuffs the takedown.
Daniels misses with a wild body shot.

Fisher shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fisher showed some decent athleticism there.

Fisher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Daniels doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fisher.

Fisher not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Daniels blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fisher.
Daniels wants to control but Fisher is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Daniels wants to get back to full guard.
Daniels has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fisher is working away from the top position though.

Fisher tries to pass to full mount but Daniels defends it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fisher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Daniels stuffs the takedown.
Fisher misses with a straight left.
Daniels blocks a leg kick.
Fisher has a takedown stuffed.
Daniels throws a series of strikes that have Fisher backpedaling.
Fisher looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Daniels lands a left and a right that sends Fisher crashing to the canvas! Daniels dives into mount looking to finish!

Daniels's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Fisher keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Steve Fisher's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Fisher walks into a jab.
Nice combo by Daniels! Oh, that's hurt him - Fisher falls to the canvas and Daniels follows him into side control.
Fisher is still in real trouble! Can Daniels finish him?
Daniels looking to control but instead Fisher has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Fisher seems to have recovered his senses.
Fisher gets back to full guard.
Daniels trying to control the position from guard on top but Fisher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fisher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daniels manages to get himself to full guard.
Daniels might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Daniels has momentary wrist control but Fisher slips an elbow through the middle.

Daniels lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fisher!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ervin Daniels just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Fisher throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fisher shoots in but Daniels avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ervin Daniels is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Daniels connects with a superb combination that knocks Fisher out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Daniels before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Fisher!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ervin Daniels!
