Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Klimov (ranked 4791 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Blanco Gracie (ranked 4576 p4p, 0 weight class). Leo Blanco Gracie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klimov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Klimov doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Gracie throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Klimov on the side of the head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Klimov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Klimov throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie counters with a right hand to the body.
Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gracie throws a leg kick which misses Klimov's front leg but catches the back leg as Klimov tries to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gracie throws a shot from downtown. Klimov moves away and avoids it.

Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Klimov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Klimov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gracie for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gracie tries to lock up and control but Klimov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Klimov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
