The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pianka throws a leg kick

and Graham counters with a shoot takedown. Pianka fights it but they end up in guard.
Pianka is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Graham stands up from Pianka's guard - Graham perhaps looking for a knockout.
Graham avoids the head kick by Pianka.

Graham bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pianka is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Graham asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Pianka wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Graham seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Pianka is tapping! Wow, great finish!

After the fight, Alexander Graham was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
