The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torquato fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Maha shoots in and bounces Torquato off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Maha is stalling in the full guard.
Maha wants to control from the top but Torquato keeps moving.
Torquato wants to improve his position but instead Maha has moved into half guard.
Torquato wants to control but Maha is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Maha tries to pass to full mount but Torquato defends it.
Torquato is trying to stand up here but Maha is controlling him well.

Maha is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Torquato doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Maha.
Torquato is in trouble now - Maha has advanced to mount!

Torquato is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maha cracks Torquato with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Torquato wants to hold on but Maha pushes him away.
Torquato is trying to escape the mount.
Maha looking to control and managing it successfully.
Torquato is breathing heavily.
Torquato is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Torquato reaches up to try and control the position but Maha seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Torquato rolls and tries to escape and now Maha has his back!

Maha is riding his opponent, not letting Torquato buck him off.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Maha controlling the position well here. Torquato rolled but Maha kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Maha is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Torquato is tapping out! This one is all over!
