Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Gaudreau (ranked 4208 p4p, 210 weight class) and Insane Prince (ranked 24899 p4p, 283 weight class). Insane Prince has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Gaudreau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Insane Prince!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince throws a big shot that misses.

Gaudreau takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Gaudreau tries to advance to mount but Prince denies him.

Gaudreau working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gaudreau is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Prince is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ground and pound from Gaudreau seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Gaudreau is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Prince knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Gaudreau is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Prince is just riding it out for now. Gaudreau eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gaudreau is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Prince doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gaudreau.
Gaudreau works his foot free and advances to mount.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Gaudreau is working for a guillotine from mount but Prince frees his head quite easily.
Prince holds on to Gaudreau as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Gaudreau looking to ground and pound but Prince is blocking nicely.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gaudreau dives in and grabs Prince's left leg, looking for a takedown. Prince pushes down on Gaudreau's head and hops out.
Nice sprawl there from Prince as Gaudreau shoots in.
Prince bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gaudreau's head backwards.
Gaudreau fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Gaudreau is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prince has escaped the position, nice work there.

Gaudreau has an Americana. Prince didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gaudreau is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gaudreau hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
