The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee goes for a double leg but Gannon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gannon continues to drive forward.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gannon scores with a hook to the body. Lee takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lee takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Bruce Lee has been cut.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Gannon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Gannon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lee! Gannon lets Lee back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Joe Gannon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bruce Lee.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gannon's waist but Gannon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.
Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee looks winded!
Lee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gannon sprawls well. Gannon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
Gannon slips a jab from Lee.
Lee leaves his chin hanging out and Gannon seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Lee crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
