Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between J Lingad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez has chosen Welcome to my Nightmare as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hector Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez doesn't manage to clinch there - Lingad circles away.
Lingad thows a body shot but no joy.
Lingad throws a good cross that connects.
A jab from Lingad misses.
Hernandez missing with a left hand there. Lingad was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Lingad feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lingad had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hernandez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lingad Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hernandez's back instead.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lingad crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hernandez - the referee stops the clock and Lingad gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hernandez. Lingad manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
