Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanker Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Kid manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Potter manages to get himself to full guard.

Kid drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Potter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kid has Potter in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kid escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Potter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Potter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kid is proving hard to escape from.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nigel Potter will probably get the nod.

Kid has hold of Potter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Potter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
