Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Snoop Lion (ranked 3196 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beau Tucker (ranked 3600 p4p, 0 weight class). Snoop Lion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tucker to score an easy takedown into full guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tucker working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Tucker content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Lion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lion really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tucker connects with a nice short shot to Lion's temple.

Lion is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beau Tucker dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lion throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Tucker passes Lion's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tucker is nestled in close to Lion, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lion wants to get back to his feet.
Lion is trying to control but Tucker passes into side control!
Tucker lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lion down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tucker is staying tight to Lion's torso, preventing him from escaping.
