Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quebra Queixo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sovaco de Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quebra Queixo looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queixo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Queixo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
de Cobra lets loose with a powerful body kick. Queixo will feel that in the morning.
de Cobra swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Queixo.

de Cobra scores with a takedown into Queixo's guard.
de Cobra sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Queixo's guard.

de Cobra stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Queixo to get to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Queixo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
de Cobra working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Queixo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for de Cobra on the ground.
Queixo is trying desperately to improve position.
de Cobra takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

de Cobra has control of Queixo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Queixo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Queixo throws a sloppy head kick and de Cobra moves out of range easily.

de Cobra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

A lull in the action here as de Cobra stalls from top position.

de Cobra is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Queixo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Queixo tries to buck de Cobra off but de Cobra is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Queixo tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Queixo is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by de Cobra.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards de Cobra.

Sovaco de Cobra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Queixo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

de Cobra drags the fight down to the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

de Cobra is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Queixo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time de Cobra.

de Cobra looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sovaco de Cobra has got the better of the ground game so far.
Let's hope that de Cobra has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well de Cobra has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
