With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Sobieski!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobieski tries to clinch up but McTavern circles away and keeps his distance.
McTavern was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sobieski.
Sobieski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McTavern looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Sobieski lands a front kick.
Sobieski lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sobieski throws a lazy head kick
and McTavern counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sobieski explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Sobieski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sobieski showed some decent athleticism there.

McTavern is looking for a sweep. Sobieski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

My spies in ~T~ Troid - Gym inform me that Sobieski has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Sobieski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Sobieski cracks McTavern with a big right hand but McTavern just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sobieski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McTavern, who protects the arm well.

Sobieski connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McTavern momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sobieski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sobieski got a little sloppy there for a moment and McTavern has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sobieski has managed to get both his arms back between McTavern's legs - danger averted.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Sobieski stands up over McTavern, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sobieski loads up on a big left hand. McTavern felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sobieski looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! McTavern can't hide his disappointment, as Sobieski celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jan Sobieski!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Jan Sobieski waved his t-shirt featuring Destructive Striking Clothing's logo in front of the cameras.
In defeat, Murky McTavern stepped up to the mic, saying 'Take me back to the sea and throw me to the fishes'.
