Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Chokdee Siriwat (ranked 5860 p4p, 501 weight class) and Krungthep Suwanpakdee (ranked 4535 p4p, 450 weight class). Siriwat comes to the ring accompanied by Vs The World. Krungthep Suwanpakdee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chokdee Siriwat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krungthep Suwanpakdee!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Siriwat does no damage.
Suwanpakdee throws a counter combo.
Suwanpakdee throws a head kick but Siriwat moves out of range.
Suwanpakdee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Siriwat swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Suwanpakdee misses with a head kick.

Suwanpakdee instigates a clinch.

Suwanpakdee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Siriwat thuds his right hand into Suwanpakdee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Chokdee Siriwat has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Siriwat throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Suwanpakdee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Siriwat can pounce on him.
Suwanpakdee doesn't manage to clinch there - Siriwat circles away.
Siriwat keeps Suwanpakdee at a distance using the push kick.
Suwanpakdee throws a head kick that misses.
Siriwat lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Suwanpakdee backs up against the ropes.
Siriwat avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Siriwat misses with a series of wild punches.
Siriwat misses with a two punch combination.

Suwanpakdee lands a head kick that bluckles Siriwat and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Suwanpakdee no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Siriwat definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Siriwat swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Siriwat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suwanpakdee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Siriwat moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Siriwat darts in and clinches Suwanpakdee up against the ropes.
Siriwat seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Suwanpakdee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Siriwat stalks Suwanpakdee and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Suwanpakdee's face. Suwanpakdee staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Krungthep Suwanpakdee has been cut.
Suwanpakdee looks winded!
Siriwat throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A head kick misses from Suwanpakdee.
Siriwat goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Siriwat blocks a head kick by Suwanpakdee.
Siriwat throws a big counter combination but Suwanpakdee scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Siriwat lands a really nice looking cross but Suwanpakdee seems unphased.
The fight stays on the outside here - Suwanpakdee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Siriwat tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Suwanpakdee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for Siriwat, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Suwanpakdee tries a head kick but it misses.
Siriwat cracks the inside of Suwanpakdee's front leg.
Krungthep Suwanpakdee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Suwanpakdee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Suwanpakdee as Siriwat tries to tie him up.
Suwanpakdee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Siriwat crunches a lovely knee into Suwanpakdee's ribcage.
Siriwat is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Siriwat keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Suwanpakdee's efforts to push away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Suwanpakdee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Suwanpakdee has Siriwat up against the ropes in a clinch.
Siriwat tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Suwanpakdee avoids it.
Siriwat avoids a wild elbow strike from Suwanpakdee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Having scored a knockdown, Krungthep Suwanpakdee should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Siriwat.
Suwanpakdee takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Siriwat tries to clinch but Suwanpakdee is having none of it.
Siriwat closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Suwanpakdee tries a head kick but it misses.
Siriwat moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Suwanpakdee is still on wobbly legs! Can Siriwat finish him?
Siriwat cracks Suwanpakdee with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Suwanpakdee is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Suwanpakdee is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Suwanpakdee could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Chokdee Siriwat!
Chokdee Siriwat spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
