Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Vanatta (ranked 23029 p4p, 425 weight class) and Trymore Nkomo (ranked 4254 p4p, 339 weight class). Nkomo has chosen On the Floor as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Marcin Vanatta has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Marcin Vanatta seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trymore Nkomo!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Chris Dean and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vanatta gets a clinch.
Vanatta lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Vanatta gets underhooks to prevent Nkomo's takedown attempt.

Vanatta turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Vanatta decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A head kick misses from Nkomo.
Vanatta is looking for a counter combo.
Vanatta tries to clinch up but Nkomo circles away and keeps his distance.
Nkomo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vanatta ducks under a wild hook from Nkomo.

Nkomo shoots in and gets a takedown into Vanatta's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nkomo controlling from the top position.
Nkomo stands and throws Vanatta's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nkomo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Vanatta will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Nkomo has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Nkomo controlling the pace for now.
Vanatta stops Nkomo from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Vanatta knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nkomo on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nkomo content just to control the position here.
Nkomo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Nkomo looking to secure an arm triangle but Vanatta defends it well.
Vanatta has given up his back here. Will Nkomo look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Nkomo has got one arm under Vanatta's chin. This could be trouble... Vanatta trying to control the other hand but Nkomo gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Vanatta has tapped out! The fight is over!

After the fight, Trymore Nkomo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
