Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Errol Germonsen (ranked 5091 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jordan (ranked 24041 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ape Sh^t y the Carters kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jason Jordan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan lands a nice looking body kick.

Jordan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Germonsen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jordan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Germonsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jordan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Jordan tries to sprawl but Germonsen drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Germonsen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jordan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Germonsen pulls his head out easily.

Germonsen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jordan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Germonsen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Germonsen stalling away here and it's allowed Jordan to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Germonsen wants to stand but Jordan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Germonsen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jordan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Germonsen has Jordan in his guard.
