The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cupido fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cupido stuns Shepherd with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cupido looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cupido misses with a double jab.
Cupido is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shepherd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cupido's waist but Cupido gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shepherd off to one side.
Cupido swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cupido misses with a wild combination.
Cupido throws a one two combo.

It looks like Freddie Shepherd has been cut.
Shepherd takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cupido throws a series of punches but Shepherd avoids them all with ease.
Cupido ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Shepherd is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cupido lands a left and a right that send Shepherd crashing to the mat, dazed. Cupido thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Shepherd is rocked!
Shawn Jr Cupido seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shepherd backs away from a small jab... but Cupido lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Shepherd crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Cupido with a spectacular finish!

After the fight, Shawn Jr Cupido was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
