Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kimmo Kallio (ranked 3681 p4p, 389 weight class) and Anthony Cable (ranked 5821 p4p, 457 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cable swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kallio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cable swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Cable on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cable takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kallio lands with a nice body punch.
Cable misses with a double jab
and Kallio counters with a straight right hand.
Kallio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cable stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cable throws a lazy right hand but Kallio sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Cable has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cable there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kallio fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cable has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Kimmo Kallio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kallio lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Kallio connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cable. Cable circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kallio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Cable throws a hook to the side of Kallio's head but Kallio sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kallio looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Cable throws a right hand that Kallio ducks under and follows up with a left that Kallio also avoids with ease.
Cable takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kallio scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cable doesn't seem bothered though.

Kallio wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Oooooh!!! Kallio has knocked Cable down with a huge combo! Kallio steps away and waves a wobbly Cable back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Cable is still on wobbly legs! Can Kallio finish him?
Cable gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Kallio gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
