Rodriguez scores with a takedown into Herrera's guard.
Herrera looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rodriguez is one step ahead there.
Herrera looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Rodriguez distracts Herrera with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rodriguez postures up in Herrera's guard and throws a big left but Herrera blocks it.
Herrera is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodriguez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Herrera pulls Rodriguez in close to prevent any damage.

Herrera wants to reverse the position here. Rodriguez has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Herrera is forced to tap! Herrera looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
