Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juanito Cortez (ranked 1014 p4p, 121 weight class) and Daniel Harding (ranked 1258 p4p, 152 weight class). Cortez comes to the ring accompanied by $$$. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harding fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Harding throws a body punch but Cortez moves out of range.

Cortez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Harding.
Cortez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harding.

Harding has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cortez is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Cortez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harding manages to avoid it.

Harding gets caught napping as Cortez dives in and scores a takedown. Harding manages to retain guard.

Cortez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Harding wants to stand and escape but Cortez is having none of it.

Harding lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cortez connects with a nice short shot to Harding's temple.

Cortez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cortez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harding tries to avoid it but Cortez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harding to the ground. Harding escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
