Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raistlin Majere (ranked 3371 p4p, 362 weight class) and Harrison Bergeron (ranked 7430 p4p, 547 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Majere gets the takedown into side control.
Majere scoring with punches and elbows.
Bergeron stops Majere from passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bergeron is looking for a sweep.
Majere trying to control the position but Bergeron is working away.
Bergeron can't do much from the bottom here.
Bergeron is holding Majere down, trying to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bergeron sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Majere prevents Bergeron from improving his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Majere is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bergeron is not content to let Majere control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bergeron punishes Majere's body with a nice straight punch.
Majere avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Majere attempts a counter takedown but Bergeron avoids it well and moves away.
Bergeron lands a slapping body shot.

Harrison Bergeron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Majere takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bergeron feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Majeres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Bergeron throws a big shot that misses.
Majere throws a leg kick but Bergeron moved away.
Majere throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bergeron.

Majere doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bergeron's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bergeron duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bergeron scores with a sloppy right hand. Majere should have avoided that one.
Majere looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bergeron cracks Majere with a right hand to the side of the head.

Bergeron darts in and clinches Majere up against the cage.
Bergeron tries to stall but Majere uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bergeron works on Majere's body with a couple of short punches.
Bergeron is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Majere pulls guard effortlessly.
Majere is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bergeron slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bergeron stopping the sweep attempt from Majere.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harrison Bergeron dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Majere tries to move into range but Bergeron moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bergeron connects with a body shot.
Bergeron doesn't manage to clinch there - Majere circles away.
Majere changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Bergeron scores with the left hand. Majere knows he should have avoided that one.
Bergeron misses with a hook. Majere ducked under it nicely.
Majere appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Majere's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bergeron connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Majere scrambles back to his feet.

Majere is rocked!
Bergeron walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Majere drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Bergeron swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Majere's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
