Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ned Bright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tim Tam!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bright moves into range and clinches up with Tam.

Tam manages to break the clinch.
Tam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tam moves into range and clinches up with Bright.
Tam presses Bright against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Tam throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Brights head.

Bright breaks the clinch.
Tam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Tam gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bright managing to block the knees to the body from Tam.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bright pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Tam throws a head kick but Bright moves out of range.

Tam clinches with his opponent.

Tam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Tam closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bright has had enough of the clinch but Tam keeps him there for the moment.
Tam lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bright has a couple of punches blocked by Tam.

Tam breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tam rushes Bright and presses him up against the cage.
Tam lands a body punch.
Bright swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tam with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Tam scores a nice knee to the body.
Tam misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bright.
Bright takes a shot to the head.
Tam lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bright lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tam lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bright backwards.
Tam lands a shoulder strike.
Bright is trying to pull guard but Tam turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bright jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tam walks away with a smile on his face. Bright gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Tam clinches up with Bright and pushes him back against the cage.
Tam lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bright on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bright.
Bright wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A body shot lands from Tam.
Tam scores with a hook to the body.
Tam tries to work over Bright's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A right hook to the body lands for Tam.
Bright tries to pull guard but Tam holds him up against the cage and eventually Bright drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ned Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tam's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tam misses with a series of wild punches.

Tam takes the fight into the clinch.

Bright wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tam has him pressed against the cage.
Nice body punch from Tam.
Tam landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Tam lands a body punch in the clinch.

Bright is rocked!


It looks like Ned Bright has been cut.

Tam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oh Bright is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tam pounces like a tiger and cracks Bright with a vicious hook! Bright is down but not out! Tam follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tim Tam!
