Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evil Dead (ranked 901 p4p, 118 weight class) and Rick Dick (ranked 402 p4p, 56 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick shoots for a double leg takedown but Dead sprawls well. He's pushed Dick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dick keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've been told by Dead's head coaches at Runts Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Dead cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

No joy there for Dick, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dead looks to score with a jab to the body but Dick is just out of range.
Dick misses with a takedown attempt - Dead sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Evil Dead has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Dick.
Dick changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dead tries to avoid it but Dick manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dead to the ground. Dead escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dead was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Dead shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dick eats them both and turns towards Dead to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dick connects with a nice short shot to Dead's temple.
