Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deshawn Perrez (ranked 4959 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khon Saroth (ranked 24886 p4p, 0 weight class). Saroth has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Deshawn Perrez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Khon Saroth's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perrez feints and as Saroth raises his hands in defense, Perrez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Saroth looks winded!
Perrez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Perrez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Perrez distracts Saroth with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Perrez lands a couple of digs.
Saroth is rocked!
Perrez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Saroth is still in real trouble! Can Perrez finish him?
Perrez loads up on a big left hand. Saroth felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Perrez looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Saroth can't hide his disappointment, as Perrez celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deshawn Perrez!
