Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Holman (ranked 24455 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Kozma (ranked 4286 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Kozma!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kozma misses with a wild body shot.
Holman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Kozma tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holman was well out of range. Poor timing from Kozma.
Kozma throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Holman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kozma throws a left and a right that both miss

and Holman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kozma is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holman postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kozma is pulling down on Holman's head. It's preventing any offense from Holman, at least for the moment.

Kozma working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Holman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kozma works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kozma looking for a triangle here. Holman is fighting it but it looks tight! Kozma pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Holman is tapping out - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, David Kozma started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
