The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grigorenko swats away the attempt to clinch by Valuev.

Grigorenko tries to land a front kick but Valuev steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Grigorenko tries to keep at a distance but Valuev has taken the fight into the clinch.

Valuev has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Grigorenko clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Valuev has one arm under Grigorenko 's neck. Grigorenko is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Valuev manages to get his arm free though and Grigorenko is in a world of trouble! Valuev sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Grigorenko turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!
