The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns closes this distance looking for a takedown but Knox circles away.
Knox is looking to clinch but Burns is avoiding it.

Burns moves into the clinch.

Burns manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Knox stands and throws Burns's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Knox cracks Burns with a big elbow.

You can see the frustration on Burns's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns looking for a sweep but Knox has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Burns is trying to escape the mount.

Knox seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Burns for as long as he can get away with.
Burns tries to reverse the position but Knox maintains control.
Knox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Burns wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Knox controlling the positon.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Knox has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Burns is defending well but eventually Knox manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Burns has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
