Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Mckee (ranked 6858 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatak Marines (ranked 24896 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earl Mckee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tatak Marines!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckee throws a leg kick
and Marines counters with a left to the body.
Mckee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mckee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Marines appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Marines bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mckee is looking to regain half guard here but Marines keeps moving and retains side control.
Marines trying to control the action but Mckee is working from the bottom.
Mckee is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mckee is trying to buck Marines off.
Mckee wants to control but Marines postures up.

Mckee is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Mckee tries to buck Marines off but Marines is having none of it.

Marines avoids the strikes from the bottom by Mckee.
Mckee wants to get back to his feet but Marines drags him back down.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Marines closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mckee quickly recovers to half guard.
Mckee controlling the position well.

Marines stalling.
Mckee tries to kick Marines off but Marines keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Marines seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mckee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mckee is trying to stand up here but Marines is controlling him well.
Mckee is trying to control but can't.
Marines prevents Mckee from standing back up.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Mckee looks to clinch
and Marines makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mckee tries a head kick but it misses.
Mckee misses with a double jab.

Marines shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mckee napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Mckee sneaks out the side door and pushes Marines away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Marines avoids the head kick by Mckee.

Mckee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Marines, pushing him back against the cage.
Marines struggles to land a body shot inside as Mckee controls his hands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Marines prevents Mckee from breaking the clinch.
Marines tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mckee's elbow.
Mckee prevents a body shot from Marines.
Mckee tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Marines avoids it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mckee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Marines shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mckee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Marines is staying tight to Mckee's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Mckee is trying to buck Marines off.
Mckee is being controlled here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tatak Marines will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mckee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Mckee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Mckee tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Marines is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Mckee is controlling him well.

Mckee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Marines to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mckee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A nice side step and Marines releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Mckee throws a sloppy head kick and Marines moves out of range easily.
Marines blocks the body kick.

Mckee gets caught flat footed, as Marines shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Marines is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Marines gets to his feet - Mckee follows without any prompting.
Mckee misses with the body kick

and Marines counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mckee!

Marines stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Mckee throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Mckee clinches up with Marines and pushes him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mckee is looking to break free of the clinch but Marines has double underhooks.

Marines breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mckee doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Marines makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mckee misses with the body kick
and Marines counters with a nice body shot.
Marines is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Marines is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mckee rather than just go for the knockout.
Mckee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marines.
Marines is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mckee with a body shot.
Marines stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marines wants it to stay on the feet.
A countering left hand to the body from Marines misses.

Marines scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Marines keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Mckee has one foot on Marines's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Marines shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mckee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Marines trying to control the position from guard on top but Mckee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Marines looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Mckee wants to stand but Marines is controlling the position.

Mckee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Earl Mckee will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mckee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Marines is controlling him.

Tatak Marines has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mckee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Mckee is positioning himself well to prevent Marines advancing to mount.
Marines tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Marines stands up and beckons Mckee to join him on the feet.

Mckee is looking to clinch but Marines is avoiding it.
Mckee misses with a head kick.
Marines is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mckee with a body shot.
Mckee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marines swivels and escapes.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Marines shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mckee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mckee pushes Marines away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Marines gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Mckee gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Marines seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

and Marines counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Mckee lands with a kick to the temple. Marines shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mckee goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Marines shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mckee is trying to escape back to his feet but Marines uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
Tatak Marines comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Marines has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
