Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, The Prodigy!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guns darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guns stops Prodigy from getting back to his feet.
Prodigy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Guns sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Prodigy defending well though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Prodigy is trying to stand back up but Guns is controlling him
Guns wants to pass the guard but Prodigy is defending well.
Guns landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Guns takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice combo by Prodigy! Oh, that's hurt him - Guns falls to the canvas and Prodigy follows him into side control.

Guns is rocked!

It looks like Big Guns has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guns is looking to regain half guard here but Prodigy keeps moving and retains side control.
Oh Guns is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Prodigy decides to stand back up. Prodigy steps back and let's Guns get back to his feet.
Guns seems to have got his legs back now.
No luck for Guns with that takedown attempt.
The Prodigy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guns shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Prodigy as he jumps to the side.
Prodigy bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Guns! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Guns keeping moving, preventing Prodigy from controlling successfully.
Prodigy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guns swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guns on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Guns tries to get out of the position.
Guns throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Prodigy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Prodigy forces his way into half guard.
Prodigy is keen to just control but Guns is a slippery customer.
Prodigy wants to stand up but Guns has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Prodigy wants to control but Guns is keeping him busy.
Guns tries to get to full guard but Prodigy has control of the leg.
Guns is breathing heavily.
Prodigy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Prodigy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Guns!
Guns tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Prodigy trying to control but Guns is having none of it.
Prodigy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Guns is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Prodigy stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Prodigy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Guns moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Prodigy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Guns at a distance.
Prodigy cracks Guns with an open hand slap.
Prodigy with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Guns uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Prodigy.
Prodigy lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Guns is looking to close the distance but Prodigy sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Guns crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Guns is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
