Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Bullock (ranked 6380 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yen Yang (ranked 4696 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronald Bullock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yen Yang!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Yang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bullock sprawls well initially but Yang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Yang is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Yang's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Yang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Yang is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bullock is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Yang takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Bullock pushes Yang up against the cage in a clinch.

Bullock rushes Yang and presses him up against the cage.

Yang works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Yang is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bullock is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Yang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bullock clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yen Yang dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Bullock has managed to clinch.

Yang has Bullock pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Yang pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bullock tumbling to the mat - Yang dives into Bullock's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Yang has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bullock wants to control the position but Yang says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Bullock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Yang is looking for a kimura but Bullock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yang to get the leverage.
Bullock tries to roll over but Yang keeps him under control.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Yang shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yang showed some decent athleticism there.

Yen Yang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Yang changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bullock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee asks Yang politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Yang prefers to stall for the moment though.
You can see the frustration on Bullock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bullock is looking for a sweep.
Yen Yang has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bullock is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Yang's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Yang is taking a breather. Bullock says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Yang feints and as Bullock raises his hands in defense, Yang changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bullock wants to sweep here but Yang controlling him for the moment.

Bullock had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yang defends it easily.
Yang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Yen Yang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
