Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between jon williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). williams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DOA. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Roman Davis was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but williams is just out of range.

Davis shoots in and bounces williams off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis wants to control from the top but williams keeps moving.
williams is striking from the bottom but Davis uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Davis has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Davis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Davis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Davis tries to control but williams wriggling away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Davis fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Davis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Davis lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Let's hope that Davis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Roman Davis just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Davis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Davis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

williams is breathing heavily.
williams has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Davis is working to get back to half guard.
williams thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Davis is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! williams is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
