The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulligan looks to land a combination but GiantSilva avoids it well.
Mulligan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as GiantSilva throws out the jab.
Mulligan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but GiantSilva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
GiantSilva moves into the clinch.
GiantSilva prevents Mulligan from breaking the clinch.
GiantSilva lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Jhonny Mulligan has been cut.
Mulligan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but GiantSilva pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mulligan has had enough of the clinch but GiantSilva keeps him there for the moment.
GiantSilva pushes off an throws an elbow but Mulligan leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
GiantSilva lands an elbow that stopped Mulligan in his tracks for a moment.
That has opened up Jhonny Mulligan's cut even more.
GiantSilva lands a knee to the head.
The cut above Jhonny Mulligan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
With the fighters up against the cage, GiantSilva throws an elbow but misses.
GiantSilva lands an elbow inside that Mulligan shrugs off.
Mulligan is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
GiantSilva lands an elbow just above Mulligan 's eye.
Jhonny Mulligan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jhonny Mulligan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
