The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kai is defended easily by Osborne.
Kai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Osborne swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kai closes the distance and clinches up with Osborne, looking for a takedown. Kai pushes Osborne against the cage but Osborne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Osborne counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Osborne chips away with some ground and pound.
Kai is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Osborne postures up.
Osborne keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kai's head.

Kai is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Osborne loads up on a big left hand. Kai felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Osborne looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Kai can't hide his disappointment, as Osborne celebrates the victory.
