The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawn throws a leg kick that is checked
and Magomedov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Brawn throws a lazy uppercut
letting Magomedov counter with a right hand.
Brawn dives in and grabs Magomedov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Magomedov pushes down on Brawn's head and hops out.
A chopping leg kick lands by Magomedov.
Brawn closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Magomedov counter with a right hand.

It looks like Reiner Brawn has been cut.
Brawn misses with the combination.
Brawn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Magomedov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brawn won't be happy with that.
Brawn bucks up and tries to throw Magomedov off but instead Magomedov has got his back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Magomedov lands shots from the back.

Magomedov is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Brawn with him. Brawn is trying to defend but Magomedov has an arm under the chin now! Brawn grimaces and is forced to tap out!

In his post fight interview, Rashid Magomedov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
