Jones fails to land the takedown.

Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hunter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
Hunter tries a low kick but Jones avoids it.
Hunter stuffs the takedown.

Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunter.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hunter but Hunter pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunter as he avoids it easily.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Hunter.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hunter to score with a decent uppercut.
Hunter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hunter digs a good body shot into Jones's ribs.
Hunter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunter throws a quick inside leg kick.

Hunter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hunter is controlling him well.

Hunter decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunter lands a nice looking body shot.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hunter throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hunter throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hunter throws a head kick that misses.
Hunter scores with a jab to the body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hunter.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Hunter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones wants to clinch
and Hunter counters with a nice body shot.

Jones wants to clinch
and Hunter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice uppercut there from Hunter.
Hunter lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hunter's guard.
Hunter keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
Hunter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones pushing down on Hunter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Jones wants to take a breather but Hunter is having none of it.

Jones trying to advance position but Hunter counters by regaining guard.
Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Hunter has wrist control.

Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hunter, up you get!

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Hunter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Jones misses with a takedown
and Hunter counters with a head kick.

Hunter scores with a takedown into Jones's guard.
Hunter won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Hunter postures up.
Jones pulls Hunter in close to his closed guard and prevents Hunter from doing any damage or advancing position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones wants to stand but Hunter is controlling the position.

Hunter has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hunter is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Hunter to sleep! This one is all over!
