Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dorsey Vance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Bush!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vance throws a leg kick but Bush checks it.
Vance fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bush has a takedown stuffed.
Vance went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Vance stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bush.
Bush blocks a head kick by Vance.
Vance throws a head kick but Bush moves out of range.
Bush throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bush shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vance napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Vance gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Vance has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bush is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bush prevents Vance from improving his position.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bush turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bush manages to end up in side control.
Vance manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bush's best efforts.

Bush is looking for a kimura but Vance is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bush to get the leverage.
Vance is trying to maintain the position but Bush is very close to passing his half guard.
We've been informed that Bush has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Vance is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Vance wants to get back to full guard.
Bush wants to pass to mount but Vance is defending the position.
Vance regains full guard. Nicely done.

Vance is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bush must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bush tries to free his leg and advance position but Vance is retaining full guard.

Vance is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Bush frees his head nicely. Oh but Vance has switched to an armbar! Bush is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
