Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Vinicio Serpico (ranked 2549 p4p, 57 weight class) and Paynuss Chonus (ranked 4705 p4p, 97 weight class). Chonus has chosen Reverend Paynus as his entrance music. Vinicio Serpico has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vinicio Serpico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paynuss Chonus!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serpico fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chonus manages to avoid it.
Serpico bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chonus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Serpico swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Serpico avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Serpico throwing a counter right hand but Chonus manages to avoid it.
Serpico lands with a hook. Chonus tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Chonus lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Chonus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

It looks like Paynuss Chonus has been cut.
Serpico lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chonus backwards.

Serpico lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chonus takes a step back to recover.
Chonus moves in looking to clinch but Serpico pushes him off.
Serpico is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chonus.
Serpico misses with a wild body shot.
Serpico finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Chonus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Serpico circles away quickly and effectively.

Serpico throws a right and a left that Chonus avoids nicely.
Serpico ducks under a wild hook from Chonus.
Chonus walks into a stiff left hand from Serpico.
Chonus slips under a jab from Serpico.

Paynuss Chonus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chonus tries to clinch there but Serpico circles away.
Chonus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chonus on the wrong end of a nice jab.

That has opened up Paynuss Chonus's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Serpico lands a head kick that sends Chonus down! Chonus is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Serpico is victorious!

In his post fight interview, Vinicio Serpico started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
