Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Stone!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Stone.
Stone misses with the combination.
Creed will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Creed dodges the punch combination from Stone.
Stone throws a left that rocks Creed and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Stone dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Creed regain composure!
Creed is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Stone decides to stand back up.
Creed moves forwards but Stone connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Creed jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Sammy Stone has been cut.
Sammy Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creed throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease.
Stone avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice defenses there by Stone.
Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Creed throws a body punch but Stone moves out of range.
Creed takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Creed misses with a jab, cross combination.
Creed is breathing heavily.
Stone looks to land a right hand but Creed moved out of range.
Stone scores with a punch to the head.

Nice combo by Creed! Oh, that's hurt him - Stone falls to the canvas and Creed follows him into side control.
Creed decides to stand back up.
Creed is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stone connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stone throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Creed on the side of the head.
Creed is rocked!
Stone dances in with a quick combination. Creed is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Stone snaps Creed's head back. Creed stumbles backwards against the cage. Stone steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Creed's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Creed just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sammy Stone!
