Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Bush (ranked 24899 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ludwig Stromm (ranked 4738 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludwig Stromm told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, George Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ludwig Stromm!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stromm shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bush is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Stromm tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bush defends well and Stromm ends up having to push Bush into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It looked like Bush was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Stromm.
Stromm tries for a takedown but Bush circles away easily
and Bush counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
George Bush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ludwig Stromm.
Stromm fails with the takedown
and Bush counters with a straight right hand.
Stromm drives through with a takedown into Bush's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stromm is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stromm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stromm drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stromm jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stromm postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bush is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stromm, into his guard.
Stromm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bush doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Stromm is tightening it up a little... Bush has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bush reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bush taps out! Nice BJJ there by Stromm!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ludwig Stromm!
