The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyoichi gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Humphrey looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kyoichi is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Humphrey scores with a couple of nice shots.

Kyoichi is trying to stand up here but Humphrey is controlling him well.
Humphrey is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kyoichi defends it well.

Humphrey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Humphrey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kyoichi tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

As Kyoichi tries to get set, Humphrey tries to push him back and clinch up but Kyoichi manages to avoid the attempt.
Kyoichi has Humphrey up against the cage in a clinch.
Humphrey is looking to break free of the clinch but Kyoichi has double underhooks.
Humphrey breaks from the clinch.
Humphrey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kyoichi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kyoichi clinches up against the cage.
Humphrey has had enough of the clinch but Kyoichi keeps him there for the moment.
Kyoichi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kyoichi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Humphrey did well to prevent Kyoichi getting side control.
Humphrey is controlling Kyoichi's trapped leg to prevent Kyoichi from advancing to side control.
Kyoichi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Humphrey is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
