Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adalberto Gamble (ranked 24866 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jairo Mina (ranked 5011 p4p, 0 weight class). Jairo Mina will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mina looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gamble!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gamble tries to buck Mina off but Mina is having none of it.

Gamble is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mina asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Mina fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gamble to the ground. Mina is now in Gamble's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Gamble is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mina pulls his head out easily.

A close round but Jairo Mina will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gamble throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mina was covering up waiting for the punch and Gamble finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Mina uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mina. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Mina changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gamble looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Adalberto Gamble.
