Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jean Pierre Dux (ranked 5364 p4p, 473 weight class) and Tommaso Carsara (ranked 6070 p4p, 497 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux scores with a head kick.

Dux closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Carsara makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Jean Pierre Dux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Dux backs off Carsara throws a huge counter combo but Dux manages to avoid it all.

Carsara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Carsara leaves Dux with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Carsara lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
